Noah Bernamoff started Mile End Deli straight out law school, driven by a courageous DIY spirit and by a desire to bring the Montreal food he’d grown up to the people of Brooklyn and New York City. Today, with other restaurants (including Grand Army,) bagel shops (Black Seed) and even a grocery store in upstate New York under his belt, Noah has proven that you can make it in one of the most competitive food markets in the world, if you work hard, hire the right team and stay focused on your vision.
In this episode of the Grilled Podcast, he talks about his youth in Montreal, the time he spent touring in an indie band The Lovely Feathers, and what continues to drive him as a restaurateur today.
