Arjun Basu is the former Editor-in-Chief of En Route, and created the magazine’s celebrated “Best New Restaurants” annual listing. He is currently Content Director of Spafax, a “branded content” pioneer that creates and curates what you see, hear and read on 60 Airlines and counting around the world. Having grown up watching celebrated author Mordecai Richler at work, he began his career as a book editor, and has written a collection of short stories (SQUISHY,) as well as a Scotiabank Giller-Prize short-listed novel (WAITING FOR THE MAN.) All of this gives Arjun a unique perspective on publishing, food, and travel that he was happy to share with us in this interview.
